"Nicer than Expected"

We stayed here for four nights because of a timeshare promotion. Luckily I didn't read the negative reviews before staying here. We actually really liked the hotel. Sure it's older and rundown a bit, but our room was large and comfortable. Housekeeping kept it nice and clean. Our room was also restful and quiet. (we were at the end of the hall.) However, our favorite part of the hotel was the pool and Jacuzzi. We didn't try the food here as we were surrounded by countless other restaurants, but we would stay here again. It was very easy to go to and from Disneyworld.

After reading several reviews on this hotel, I felt compelled to write my own review after staying here. I am a travel professional that book a high volume of travelers in the Orlando area and like to stay where I may book my clients.
I stayed in room 1089 and I was travelling with another person and 2 dogs. This hotel is completely family friendly including pets and was a great location for a day at Disney and the price was excellent.
One of the most outstanding features of this hotel = the front desk staff! I've stayed in a lot of hotel over the years and by far this hotel has had one of the best front desk staff that I've ever encountered. Polite, well mannered, professional, courteous... I could go on!
Ok, so yes, the hotel is a outdated and yes my a/c leaked in the room but it WAS NOT horrible. I didn't complain because it wasn't necessary and it didn't make my stay less enjoyable. The room overall was quite large, 2 double/queen beds, nice bathroom, etc. Plus, I wasn't spending my whole day in the room. I went to Disney and was only using the room to keep my pets cool and safe and to shower and sleep at night after a day at the park. I knew I wasn't booking the Ritz Carlton and, hey, I am travelling with dogs....so I needed to be realistic and set my expectations accordingly.
If you're going to any of the attractions in Orlando and you're looking for a comfortable placed to stay that has a great price - this will work for you! There is an indoor pool and hot tub as well as an outdoor pool if you want to cool off.
I would definitely use this hotel again and provide as an economical option to my clients without hesitation.
