Founder and CEO of SECURE-RES, Joe Hyman has an extensive background in the world of online travel. Joe’s forte is providing expert insight on building website traffic, tracking returns on marketing campaigns and maximizing online revenue with yield management.
Much of Joe’s background is in sales, marketing and operation development, creating scalable organizations.
“We recognized a need by the hotels,” says Joe Hyman, regarding SECURE-RES’s roots. “That need was to promote a hotel’s individual property website, allow the Internet shopper to book directly without paying excessive distribution costs, and supply deeply discounted rates to third-party merchant sites,” says Hyman.
The company’s goal is to provide effective Internet marketing solutions and reservation services to the hotel industry. SECURE-RES provides the highest level of personal service at the best prices possible for our customers.
Prior to founding SECURE-RES, Joe operated an independent company representing Johnson & Johnson and Depuy Orthopedics. In addition to promoting over 15,000 surgical products throughout Northeast Florida, Joe provided technical expertise to surgeons, organized local education programs, and forecasted, planned and developed sales strategies.
Steve is responsible for leading the programming and technical development teams for all SECURE-RES products and services. By constantly upgrading and enhancing the programs and services offered, Steve Million helps ensure that SECURE-RES clients receive the most flexible, up-to-date technology to help them generate optimal results.
Steve's background includes management and support of a major medical sales office in Tampa. In this position, he was responsible for sales and administrative support for 16 outside sales representatives, while maintaining and executing all corporate budget objectives. In addition, he coordinated the technology implementation in the company’s satellite offices and wrote an instrument-tracking program for the company that is still in use today.
Mike is responsible for the company’s overall operations, including customer service, administrative support and the financial department. As VP he has redefined operational services, incorporating project management principles and best practices into the organization. He has also reshaped the company’s accounting and billing systems and is an active contributor to the management team’s strategic planning initiatives.
Mike is a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration. His career in the hospitality industry spans more than 20 years, and He has held various titles in both independent and publicly held companies throughout the United States.
Joel joined SECURE-RES in April 2007 as Senior Vice President of Sales. He brings over 20 years of hospitality, marketing, sales and public relations experience to the table. Joel’s responsibilities are leading and managing SECURE-RES’s superb and highly experienced sales team.
Joel has had a great deal of leadership roles within the hospitality industry. He served on the Partner Council for EMC Venues and the hotel committee for the National Defense Transportation Association. Joel is currently on the Board of Directors for Virginia Hospitality and Tourism Association, President of the Northern Virginia Chapter, and Co-Chair of the Association Marketing Committee.
Prior to joining the SECURE-RES team, Joel worked at B.F. Saul Company- Hotel Division as AVP Sales and Marketing. He also worked for Wyndham Hotel Group (previously Cendant Corporation) for six years, where he co-authored two hotel sales and marketing texts developed and utilized by Cendant.
Joel has also participated as an Adjunct Professor and the Visitor Professor Program at the University of Houston, Prince Georges College, and Northern Virginia Community College. He has a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration
